Accor Shares Rise Above Moving Averages, Targeting €46.43
The hotel group marks a positive session in the Paris market, aiding the rebound of the CAC 40. The stock erases some of the pressure accumulated in recent weeks and finds a more favorable technical setup.
The stock rebounds to €44.84 and ranks among the top gainers of the CAC 40
Accor shares gained 1.84% to €44.84 in mid-afternoon trading, while the CAC 40 advanced 0.58% to 8,133 points. The stock is among the top gainers of the Paris index for the session.
This rebound erases some of the decline accumulated over three months, at -7.51%. Over a week, the performance has turned slightly positive, at +0.7%.
As a reminder, the last quarterly report, released on April 29, showed a revenue increase of 2.3% at constant exchange rates, with RevPAR in the United Arab Emirates affected by the conflict in the Middle East.
Crossing the three moving averages breathes life into the technical configuration
Today's movement brings the price back above its three main moving averages. At €44.84, the stock is now 3.39% above the MM20 (€43.37) and 4.55% above the MM50 (€42.89), while slightly surpassing the MM200 (€44.43) by 0.92%. The latter, already tested several times in recent weeks, becomes a support rather than a ceiling.
The RSI at 52 remains in the neutral zone, leaving room before the resistance identified at €46.43. Conversely, the support at €41.18 moves away following today's movement. The next key event on the calendar is the shareholders' general meeting, scheduled for May 27, 2026.
