Amundi Share Hits Historic Record and Targets the €100 Mark
The Paris-based asset manager recorded a new all-time high in trading on Friday, breaking through its €97.10 resistance level in the process. The momentum is sustained by an upgraded target from an American investment bank, while the SBF 120 closes the week virtually flat.
Historic Record of €97.50 Achieved Following BofA Securities Target Hike
The Amundi share posted its all-time high in trading on Friday at €97.50, surpassing the previous historic record of €97.45 recorded on August 7, 2026. The stock gained 0.52% compared to Thursday's close of €97, advancing in a session where the SBF 120 lost 0.07%. The breakthrough of the €97.10 resistance level occurred during the session, with sustained levels above this threshold thereafter.
The immediate catalyst is an upward revision of BofA Securities' price target on the stock, increased from €97 to €110, published on September 3, with the rating remaining at buy. This revised target implies an upside potential of approximately 12.8% from the current price. Over one month, the stock shows only a gain of 0.88%, but over three months it advances 16.56% and over one year nearly 57%, illustrating a long-term dynamic that places this record in the continuity of a constructed bullish trend.
Moving Averages Significantly Surpassed and Weekly Advance of 3.6%
At €97.50, Amundi is trading well above its three moving averages. The 20-day MA at €95.05 remains 2.58% below the price, the 50-day MA at €91.22 nearly 7% lower, and the 200-day MA at €80.17 more than 21% below. This hierarchy reflects a structured bullish trend across all timeframes. Over the week, the stock is showing a performance of 3.61%, among the strongest in the SBF 120, where the majority of members finished in negative territory on Friday.
The RSI at 56 remains in neutral territory, far from an overbought configuration, which leaves room before the movement encounters technical exhaustion signals. The €100 zone now constitutes the next round level above the current price, a psychological threshold that the stock has never reached and has never been tested. Amundi share had already posted positive news in late August, with the announcement that Victory Capital's acquisition of First Eagle Investments (in which Amundi holds 27% of the capital) should have a positive effect on its own earnings per share.
