Argan Shares Climb 2% and Join the Leading Pack of the SBF 120
The real estate company specializing in logistics warehouses is regaining its footing on the Paris Stock Exchange. The stock benefits from a rising CAC 40 after a turbulent session, and joins the leading pack of the SBF 120. This movement follows the recent upward revision of the group's annual targets.
A 2% Rebound That Places the Stock Above Its Short-Term Moving Averages
Argan's stock gains 1.98% to €61.70 in early afternoon trading, up from €60.50 the previous day. The stock is among the top gainers in the SBF 120, an index that only rose by 0.37%. The rebound allows the real estate company to move back above its MM20 at €60.36 (a gap of +2.22%) and its MM50 at €60.41, both thresholds tested during the previous day's decline.
The MM200 remains out of reach at €63.75, about 3.2% above the current price, indicating a medium-term resistance. The RSI at 49 remains neutral, while the MACD, positive at 0.41 with a histogram at 0.16, confirms a short-term bullish momentum. Over a month, the performance reaches 5.29%, while the annual decline is reduced to 3%.
A Rebound Supported by Confirmed Operational Momentum in Early July
The movement follows a series of corporate news in recent days. The real estate company had raised its annual target to €221 million on July 2, after a 4% increase in rental income in the first half of the year to €109.7 million. On the same day, the group also delivered two logistics platforms totaling 54,000 m² to Ferrero near Rouen, extending a pipeline of deliveries visible since spring.
The market context remains dominated by a resurgence of tensions in the Middle East and a rise in Brent crude above $78, which fuels caution over long-term rates. The next resistance to watch is the €62.30 threshold, whose crossing would bring the stock closer to its MM200.
