At the top of the CAC 40, EssilorLuxottica stock climbs nearly 3%
EssilorLuxottica is enjoying a well-oriented trading session in early afternoon, within a CAC 40 showing slight gains. The stock is extending a rebound that has been underway for several days, as its quarterly earnings approach.
A rebound that brings the price back to its 50-day moving average
The EssilorLuxottica stock rises 2.93% to €153.05, placing it among the strongest gainers in the CAC 40, which is up 0.31%. The gain reaches 7.03% over seven days, enough to bring the price to its 50-day MA (€152.81) and above its 20-day MA (€145.32), following the lows of late September. The 200-day MA remains far away at €190.08, or 19.5% above the current price, and the stock is still down 43.4% over one year. The RSI at 51 is neutral: the rebound has erased the oversold condition from late September.
