Atos deploys its e-GF platform to manage 5 billion euros of the Île-de-France region budget
The Île-de-France Region has put into production since May 5 the e-GF platform supplied by Atos, a financial management component designed to oversee an annual budget of nearly 5 billion euros.
This announcement comes as Atos multiplies recent initiatives in the public sector, notably around cybersecurity and sovereign artificial intelligence.
A central financial management component for the local authority
Atos announced on September 29, 2026 the implementation by the Île-de-France Region of the new e-GF solution, presented as the central financial management component of the local authority.
The project, developed from workshops with users and a redesign of interfaces, allows the Region to oversee an annual budget of 5.8 billion euros. The solution was put into production on May 5.
It is part of the local authority's digital transformation program and aims to improve the efficiency and regulatory compliance of financial management.
Interconnection with State services and regulatory compliance
The solution is interconnected with State services, including the General Directorate of Public Finances (DGFIP) and the Agency for Financial Information Systems of the State (AIFE).
According to the press release, e-GF ensures continuous compliance with regulatory changes, notably in anticipation of the European directive on electronic invoicing implemented on September 1, 2026. Functional representatives of local authorities can carry out regulatory updates themselves.
The platform is hosted in SaaS mode with advanced security measures. The project included training for functional administrators and support during startup, with a dedicated cell for end users.
Approximately 800 users and 60,000 annual payment mandates
The press release details the scope of use of the solution: approximately 800 operational users, an annual budget managed of 5.8 billion euros, 15,000 invoices processed annually and 60,000 annual payment mandates.
On the Region's side, Bernard Giry, Director of Information Systems and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the digital transformation division, mentioned a success based on two internal partners: the digital transformation division and the financial, legal and property affairs division.
Laurent Laffère, Director of Markets for Public Sector, Health and Defense at Atos France, stated that this implementation came to "crown the success" of the collaboration with the Region.
