Atos Group stock plunges to €25.88, below all its moving averages
The downward trend of Atos Group intensifies this Monday, within an almost stable SBF 120. The restructuring IT group extends a decline that began several weeks ago, widening the gap with its main moving averages.
A 3.5% decline that pushes Atos well below its key moving averages
The stock loses 3.5% to €25.88 during the session, against a last close of €26.82 on Friday, September 4th. Atos Group thus ranks among the strongest declines in the SBF 120, while the index shows a marginally positive change of 0.1%. The decline is part of a broader movement: the stock has lost nearly 11% over the past week and more than 18% over the month, illustrating the magnitude of accumulated depreciation. The price is now trading well below its three reference moving averages.
The 20-day MA stands at €29.12, representing a gap of more than 11% above the current price, while the 50-day MA at €30.95 widens the gap to more than 16%. The 200-day MA at €39.62 is more than 34% above the price, reflecting a deteriorated underlying trend over a multi-month horizon. The RSI at 31 approaches the oversold zone, a sign that selling pressure remains sustained without yet showing a clear technical pause.
A deteriorated technical configuration and a support level already broken since last week
The support level identified at €27.06 was breached in previous sessions, a breakthrough already documented in early last week, and the price has moved even further away since. At €25.88, the stock is down more than 31% over three months and more than 37% over one year, making it one of the most affected values in the SBF 120 over these timeframes.
This level of bearish commitment does not preclude a reversal, but indicates that structural pressure is not an isolated phenomenon in today's session. The nearest resistance stands at €33.62, more than 30% above the current price, which measures the magnitude of the theoretical recovery needed to return to a less precarious technical footing.
