Avenir Telecom Reduces Net Loss by 52% in 2025-2026, to -€4.9M
On July 8, 2026, Avenir Telecom announced a significant reduction in its annual losses for the fiscal year 2025-2026, which ended on March 31, 2026. The operating loss decreased by 47%, to -€4.2 million, and the net loss by 52%, to -€4.9 million. However, this progress is primarily based on cost reduction and margin improvement, with revenue remaining nearly stable at €10.4 million, compared to €11.0 million the previous year.
Losses Reduced Through Financial Discipline Despite Stable Activity
The Marseille-based group managed to contain the decline in activity by gradually rolling out its new product categories (computing, tools, home and garden equipment) under the Energizer license. These new ranges accounted for 24% of annual revenues, and 32% of the revenue in the second half of the year, providing some compensation to the historical base. Through control of operational expenses and improved margins on the cost of goods sold, the group reduced its operating loss from -€7.9 million (fiscal year 2024-2025) to -€4.2 million, a reduction of 47%.
The net loss followed the same trend, moving from -€10.2 million to -€4.9 million, a decline of 52%. Although significant in terms of loss reduction, this improvement is contingent on the group's ability to stabilize its activity in a transitional context.
Available Cash Deemed Sufficient for the Next Twelve Months
Avenir Telecom worked on optimizing its working capital needs during the fiscal year, achieving a reduction of €0.8 million. The group notably reduced its overall inventory by €1.4 million while building up reserves on new product references. As a result, cash consumption was reduced from €6.9 million to €4.7 million, preserving available cash of €8.6 million at the end of March 2026.
The group believes that its financial resources cover the estimated liquidity needs for the next 12 months. However, this position remains tight, given the residual losses and the need to finance the development of new ranges.
Commercial Redeployment to Reconnect with Growth
Avenir Telecom announces its intention to continue the commercial development of new product categories in 2026-2027, confirming its structured roadmap around three strategic pillars. The group remains positioned in over 55 countries, with more than half of its sales made internationally. The products are primarily marketed under an exclusive and global license of the Energizer brand.
The central challenge for investors lies in the group's ability to convert this portfolio transition into sustainable growth. For now, the stabilization of revenue and cost-driven loss reduction indicate a company in adjustment phase, rather than in a growth phase. The expected commercial acceleration in 2026-2027 will be the key signal of the viability of the model in the medium term.
