Avenir Telecom: Slight Decline in Revenue, but New Ranges Gain Momentum
Avenir Telecom, a distributor of electronic products licensed under the Energizer brand, is navigating a phase of transition. The fiscal year 2025-2026 (ending March 31, 2026) reflects the culmination of extensive preparation: after more than a year of technical validation, partner factory certification, and product qualification, the new ranges are beginning to contribute to sales. This gradual ramp-up was marked by sequential revenue growth in the second half of the year and a significant transformation in revenue sources, although annual results remained close to previous levels.
Computing and Tools Partially Offset the Decline in Telephony
Annual revenue was recorded at 10.4 million euros, slightly down from 11.0 million in 2024-2025. However, this apparent stability masks a contrasting dynamic. Telephony and accessories, the historical core of the business, recorded 7.4 million euros for the year, a significant drop compared to the 11.0 million from the previous year. Meanwhile, new categories (computing, tools, home and garden equipment) generated 3.0 million euros in revenue in 2025-2026, up from zero the previous year. This growth accelerated towards the end of the year: 1.0 million in the first half and 2.0 million in the second half, indicating an acceleration of deliveries and commercial deployments over time.
A Sequential Progression that Validates the Diversification Strategy
The increase from 4.8 million euros in the first half to 5.6 million in the second half demonstrates a continuous ramp-up. This trend stems from the extension of the licensing contract with Energizer, signed earlier, which opened access to new product categories. Recent commercial results illustrate Avenir Telecom's ability to deploy this strategy: entry into the Top 10 most sold brands on Amazon France in the computing sector, a selected partnership with MTN Group for the supply of connected devices under the Energizer brand, and renewed presence in the Asia-Oceania region (accounting for more than 5% of revenue in the last fiscal year). These occasional successes suggest that the new offerings are resonating commercially, but the fiscal year 2025-2026 was just the first phase of deployment.
Focus on Entry and Mid-Range to Reignite Growth in 2026-2027
Avenir Telecom intends to continue developing new ranges in 2026-2027 to reconnect with growth. The commercial strategy relies on two brands: Energizer (telephony, computing, tools, home-garden equipment) positioned for reliability and value for money, and Wonder, Avenir Telecom's own brand focused on portable charging (batteries, powerbanks, solar solutions) and indoor equipment (flashlights). The group targets entry and mid-range segments, identified as comprising a significant portion of volumes in the consumer electronics markets. The product offering combines categories with high turnover and categories identified for medium-term development.
