Battered by 22% over the quarter, 2CRSI stock gains nearly 8%
The Strasbourg-based designer of high-performance computer servers is recovering sharply during the session. The movement comes after a difficult quarter, as controversy over the group's orders, relayed in September, has marked the stock's recent activity.
A rebound that leaves the price below its three moving averages
2CRSI stock gains 7.85% to €25.28, compared to €23.44 at the previous close. This level corresponds to the support threshold, giving the session the appearance of a rebound at an identified floor. The stock remains, however, below its MA20 (€27.86, gap of 9.26%), its MA50 and its MA200, which places today's recovery in a still bearish underlying trend. The RSI at 34 reflects the exhaustion of selling pressure in recent weeks.
Resistance at €30.88 is the next identified high level. Over three months, the stock is still down 22%, while it still shows nearly 90% gains over one year. Over the week, the decline reaches 5.1%, so the gain of the day only erases part of it.
An Aether project file and a contested order that dominated September's news
As a reminder, 2CRSi specified on September 16 that the company carrying the Aether project had obtained the seller's agreement for a 25 MW site in Strasbourg. These clarifications follow exchanges with the Financial Markets Authority. On the same day, the group called upon an independent expert, whose initial conclusions confirm the order of 194 servers placed by a German customer, which had been challenged by the Grizzly Research report.
These conclusions only concern this transaction. The CAC 40 is up 0.85% at mid-session, in a Paris market evolving as the 10-year OAT rate, at 4.90% according to the October 8 reading, remains close to its series high.
