Boiron in exclusive negotiations to acquire Spanish company Hivital Labs
The French laboratory seeks to strengthen its presence in dietary supplements and online commerce by targeting full control of a Barcelona-based company active in digital sales.
Exclusive negotiations covering 100% of capital
Boiron Laboratories announced on October 1st, 2026 that it had entered into exclusive negotiations with the shareholders of Hivital Labs with a view to acquiring 100% of its capital.
Based in Barcelona, the target company specializes in the development and online marketing of dietary supplements. It achieved revenue exceeding €10 million in 2025.
The project aligns with the group's intention to expand its range of health solutions, strengthen its position in the dietary supplements market, and develop its presence in online commerce.
Possible signing in the fourth quarter of 2026
The transaction remains subject to the information and consultation procedure of the company's Central Works Council, as well as obtaining the required authorizations.
Should the transaction proceed, the signing of the final agreements could take place during the fourth quarter of 2026.
At this stage, therefore, nothing is certain: the commitment is limited to an exclusive discussion phase, and completion depends on several prior steps.
A move toward business diversification
This operation would aim to position the group further in the dietary supplements and digital sales market.
It follows the publication, on September 17th, 2026, of the half-yearly results for the period ending June 30th, 2026, which showed revenue virtually stable at constant exchange rates and operating profit down by €8.2 million.
