Bottega Veneta: Romain Spitzer Appointed CEO Starting September 1, 2026
Kering announced on July 15 the appointment of Romain Spitzer as the CEO of Bottega Veneta, effective from September 1, 2026. The executive, who previously held the position of CEO at LVMH Beauty's Fragrance Group, will join the luxury group's Executive Committee and will be based in Milan, reporting directly to Luca de Meo, CEO of Kering.
A Luxury and Brand Management Specialist at the Helm
Romain Spitzer brings over thirty years of experience in the luxury industry. A graduate of ESCP Business School, he began his career at Guerlain in 1995 before holding various marketing roles at Jean Paul Gaultier Parfums and Yves Saint Laurent Parfums, where he was the Director of International Marketing. In 2006, he joined Parfums Christian Dior as the Director of Perfume Activities, and later held leadership positions as General Manager for Spain and Regional General Manager for Europe. From 2016, he led LVMH Fragrance Brands (Parfums Givenchy and Kenzo), with his responsibilities later expanded to include Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Acqua di Parma, Loewe Perfumes, Officine Universelle Buly, and New Ventures.
