Capgemini stock surges, RSI at 70 after +36.5% in three months
The IT services group continues a rebound established over several weeks and ranks among the top performers on the Paris index. The session opens with a business update and in a market oriented upward.
A rebound that widens the gap with its long-term moving averages
The Capgemini share gains 1.63% to €125.00 during trading, as the CAC 40 rises 0.49%. The stock ranks among the strongest gainers on the index, having risen 19.8% over one month and 36.5% over three months. The price is 17.5% above its 200-day moving average and 14.6% above its 50-day moving average, a gap that has widened session after session, as mid-October progress already showed.
The RSI at 70 places the stock at the edge of the overbought zone, with resistance at €151.85 still distant. On valuation, the consensus of surveyed analysts values the stock at approximately 9.7 times the earnings of the current fiscal year, with expected earnings per share growth of 6.8%.

The group is publishing its business update for the first nine months of 2026 today. The stock approaches this milestone after a rise of nearly 5% over the week, in a market context marked by tension on French debt, with an OAT-Bund spread exceeding 1.5 percentage points ahead of Moody's review on Friday, October 23. The €600 million share buyback program, announced on October 6, was executed at approximately 21% as of October 20, representing €123 million already repurchased.
