Dassault Systèmes share threatens its support at €20.17, down 12% over one month
The 3D software publisher is losing ground this Wednesday morning in a CAC 40 index that is nearly balanced, ranking among the rare values in the index clearly in the red. The stock has accumulated difficult weeks and remains anchored below its short-term moving averages, in a configuration that contrasts with confirmed fundamentals from the latest results.
A decline that prolongs persistent pressure on the stock for several weeks
Dassault Systèmes is falling 1.55% during the session, to €20.32, positioning itself among the strongest declines in the CAC 40 while the Paris index loses barely 0.09%. The stock remains below its MA20 (€20.93, a gap of -2.91%) and below its MA50 (€21.16, a gap of -3.97%), two averages that have been exerting persistent downward pressure for several weeks. Only the MA200, at €20.09, remains slightly below the current price, offering modest support.
The support at €20.17 remains in the line of fire: the stock is approaching it by less than 1%, and a downward break of this threshold would open a new bearish level. The RSI at 46 signals neither overbought nor oversold conditions, leaving open the possibility of continuation of the movement in either direction. Over the week, the stock is down 3.15%, prolonging a monthly decline of 12% that is weighing significantly on performance since the beginning of the year.
Confirmed fundamentals in the first half, but persistent long-term pressure
When publishing first-half 2026 results (July 23, 2026), Dassault Systèmes had confirmed its annual outlook in a context it described as "good performance in the second quarter", with a revenue target of 6,356 million euros. These fundamental elements were not enough to reverse the downward trend: the stock is down 28.22% over one year, reflecting a prolonged revaluation of the security since the beginning of the fiscal year. Over three months, on the other hand, performance stands at +12.39%, evidencing a partial technical rebound between July and end of August before pressure resumed. The support at €20.17 remains the key level to monitor in the coming sessions.
