Deoleo: Sale Agreement with Acesur and Dcoop Valued at €520 M
The olive oil brand specialist has entered into an agreement for its sale to two players upstream in the olive oil sector. Deoleo and its majority shareholders say they selected this offer for the strong certainty of execution it provides, beyond its amount alone.
A Signed Agreement to Advance the Sale
Deoleo has entered into an agreement with the consortium formed by Acesur and Dcoop to advance its sale process. The announcement, dated November 5, 2026, was relayed by CVC on its website.
The press release does not describe a completed transaction: it refers to an agreement for the sale, which moves the process forward. The selected offer implies an enterprise value of €520 million.
This amount corresponds to Deoleo's implied enterprise value. It does not refer to revenue nor, on its own, to the price paid to shareholders for their shares.
The text details the selection criteria. Beyond the financial support and the solidity of the proposal, Deoleo and its majority shareholders particularly considered the strong certainty of execution guaranteed by the transaction.
In a sale process, this criterion weighs on the choice of buyer, as it reduces the risk that the transaction will not be completed. The board of directors approved the agreement, according to the chief executive officer, Cristóbal Valdés.
Olive Oil Producers Backed by a Portfolio of Brands
The transaction brings together two distinct links in the olive oil value chain. According to the press release, Acesur and Dcoop, rooted in Spain's olive oil heritage, bring a direct link to origin, a broad agricultural presence and production capacities.
For its part, Deoleo contributes its expertise in consumer goods marketing and its international sales and distribution networks. The logic described is that of integrating upstream agriculture with downstream commercial activities.
Deoleo's chairman, Ignacio Silva, stated: "This transaction recognizes the work accomplished in recent years and the constant support of our majority shareholders, highlighting the value of a portfolio of emblematic brands that are part of our agri-food heritage."
He added: "The partnership with Acesur and Dcoop decisively strengthens Deoleo's position across the entire olive oil value chain and provides operational certainty to producers and to the sector as a whole."
A New Phase Announced by Management
Cristóbal Valdés presented the agreement as the starting point of a new stage for the group, whose strategy is based on the "Evoo-lution" roadmap. He stated: "This stage marks the beginning of a new phase, built on solid foundations and with a long-term vision."
For CVC, this announcement adds to a series of recent transactions. The infrastructure division of the asset manager took control, on October 27, 2026, of the Cernaval shipyard in Algeciras, and the group had announced on October 13 an agreement to enter the share capital of Fibrotex.
On October 29, 2026, CVC also announced assets under management generating fees of €177 billion at the end of September, up 24% year on year and 11% on an organic basis.
