Drone Volt Ramps Up Production and Showcases Dual-Use Drones at Eurosatory
The French professional drone manufacturer is participating in the Eurosatory defense exhibition (June 15-19 in Paris-Nord Villepinte) to showcase its dual-use solutions for security and defense forces. Marc Courcelle, CEO, announces an acceleration of production capacity in response to growing demand.
Three Drone Families for Security and Defense Missions
Drone Volt will present its portfolio of drone solutions developed in France at Eurosatory. The Hercules 20, a heavy-lift drone capable of carrying up to 15 kg of payload, has been deployed in Ukraine for mine detection and unexploded ordnance missions, equipped with an onboard magnetometer. In its High-Dra configuration, this same drone was tested in aerial firefighting with the SDIS of Oise, demonstrating its ability to project 250 liters of water at 240 bar pressure from a height of 96 meters.
The Heliplane, a long-range VTOL drone with a wingspan of 3.40 m or 4.15 m depending on the model, is intended for maritime aerial surveillance, mapping of sensitive areas, and early fire detection. The Kobra, an ITAR-free tactical drone, partners with Proengin's AP4C+ detector for real-time detection of gases, vapors, and chemical agents in CBRN environments, with centralized data accessible via the Kaptrek Pro Pilot touch watch from FAB'ONE.
Dual Expertise to Meet Increasing Demand
Drone Volt's offering is based on dual expertise and includes several former officers from the Army, Air Force, and Navy within its teams. This composition adds value for users from security and defense forces, as well as major international industrial integrators.
Marc Courcelle states that Drone Volt "is preparing to enhance its production capabilities by leveraging its industrial expertise and R&D know-how, to meet the specific needs expressed by our users." The group also announces the presentation of the latest innovations in anti-drone warfare, reflecting the evolution of intervention doctrines.
