Drone Volt signs agreement worth at least €50 million over 5 years with Belgian company Sol.One
The professional civil drone manufacturer has concluded a cooperation and investment agreement with Belgian company Sol.One, partner of the Saboteur UAV drone system. The agreement combines a firm component order with cross-shareholdings between the two companies.
A cooperation agreement centered on the Saboteur UAV system
Drone Volt announced on September 2, 2026 the signing of a cooperation and investment agreement with Sol.One (Sol1 BV), a Belgian company partnering in the development of the Saboteur UAV drone system.
This agreement aims to jointly develop the Saboteur UAV drone system in its civil and military versions. Sol.One also grants Drone Volt the exclusive right to market Saboteur UAV systems to designated customers in France, as an independent reseller.
A firm order of at least €50 million over five years
Under the agreement, Sol.One commits to ordering from Drone Volt propulsion systems and components for a minimum of 10 million euros per year for five consecutive years, representing a firm cumulative minimum commitment of 50 million euros.
Drone Volt thereby becomes the exclusive supplier of these components for the Saboteur UAV's needs.
Cross-shareholdings of €2.5 million each
Sol.One will enter Drone Volt's capital for 2.5 million euros, based on the last stock prices preceding the completion of the transaction. In parallel, Drone Volt will participate in a capital increase of Sol.One, in the coming weeks, for an amount of 2.5 million euros.
Marc Courcelle, Chief Executive Officer of Drone Volt, indicated that this agreement should enable the group to contribute to the development of the Saboteur UAV system and to become a key supplier of its components through the firm order included in the partnership.
