Edenred share retreats 1.5% but maintains +11% over the quarter
The specialist in employee benefits and dedicated payments declines during trading, in a Paris market oriented downward. This pullback follows a strong recovery initiated since summer, ahead of a quarterly meeting closely monitored.
A decline in the wake of a CAC 40 under pressure, despite a well-established title
The Edenred share loses 1.67% to €29.49 in mid-afternoon, compared to €29.99 the previous day. The CAC 40 declines by 0.67% and the SBF 120 by 0.69%, placing the security in the lower part of the SBF 120 during the session. The move follows several sessions of gains, including the breakthrough of the €30.45 resistance on October 16. The security maintains a gain of 4.21% over one week and 42.88% over one year.
It remains well above its moving averages: the gap is 4.69% with the 20-day MA (€28.17) and 29.17% with the 200-day MA (€22.83). The RSI at 63.6 remains in neutral territory, away from overbought. The nearest resistance is at €30.05, the support at €26.84.
Quarterly results expected tomorrow, following a half-year with raised guidance
Edenred publishes its third quarter 2026 revenue on October 21. During the H1 2026 results presentation on July 23, the group raised its 2026 EBITDA guidance. It mentioned double-digit growth in Mobility and strong single-digit growth in Employee Benefits.
Among the risks cited on this occasion was the impact of regulatory changes on meal vouchers in Italy and Brazil. The group, which has repurchased €542 million worth of shares under its latest program, approaches this meeting with a security substantially higher over three months (+11.07%). Third quarter revenue will be the next publication to watch.
