Emeis share falls and threatens its €12.66 support level
Emeis erases much of the rebound posted last Monday over two sessions, as the share remains deeply underwater below its three moving averages in a European market itself trending downward. The monthly performance, now down more than 12%, illustrates the persistent pressure on the share since this summer.
A decline of 3.34% that intensifies the downward trend of the past four weeks
Emeis closes at €12.75, down 3.34% compared to the previous day (€13.19), ranking among the steepest declines of the SBF 120 at the end of this session. The movement extends a weakened dynamic: over the week, the share loses 7.61%, and over the month, the decline exceeds 12%. These figures bring the price very close to the €12.66 support level, which the share is now flirting with a gap of less than 1%. On the resistance side, the €14.56 threshold is far away, more than 14% above the current price.
The overall configuration remains unfavorable: the price is trading below the 20-day MA at €13.87, the 50-day MA at €14.03 and the 200-day MA at €14.04, with gaps ranging between 8% and over 9% on each. The RSI at 41 does not yet signal an outright oversold zone, but reflects selling pressure that is gradually building. The CAC 40 and SBF 120 each finished slightly lower at their respective close, which amplified the challenging context for French equities this afternoon.
Monday's rebound absorbed, Q1 2026 fundamentals struggling to support the share price
The 2.5% rebound recorded on Monday, August 31, one of the best performances of the SBF 120 that day, thus proved ephemeral. In less than two sessions, the gain was entirely erased, and the share falls back below its Friday level. Over one year, Emeis still shows a gain of 7.5%, but this cushion is eroding over the weeks, with short-term momentum contradicting the annual dynamic.
As a reminder, when Q1 2026 results were published on May 7, 2026, the company reported organic growth of 6.3%, supported by rising occupancy rates. This operational dynamic was not sufficient to anchor the share durably in an upward phase, with valuation remaining under pressure. The €12.66 support level, now almost reached, is concentrating attention in the short term.
