Eramet Appoints Simon Henochsberg as CFO Effective May 2026
Simon Henochsberg has been appointed as the CFO of Eramet Group and a member of the Executive Committee starting May 26, 2026. He will succeed Abel Martins Alexandre, who has left the group.
A Career Spanning Strategy and Finance
Since 2024, Simon Henochsberg has held the position of Vice President of Strategy at the group, where he led strategic initiatives amidst significant transformation. From February 2026, he has been transitioning to lead the financial direction as co-CFO, particularly in charge of the financing plan presented during the annual results.
A graduate of École Polytechnique with a master's in Political and Economic Analysis from the Paris School of Economics, Simon Henochsberg possesses extensive financial experience. He began his career at Rothschild & Co in the Sovereign Advisory division, where he spent five years providing strategic financial advice to states and major institutions, particularly on complex financing operations and sovereign debt issues.
Gradual Integration into the Group
Simon Henochsberg joined Eramet in 2022 as the Chief of Staff to the CEO, a role in which he demonstrated his ability to manage high-level strategic issues and ensure effective coordination among various departments. In this capacity, he gained a deep understanding of the operational, financial, and strategic challenges of the group, as well as its internal and external stakeholders.
