EssilorLuxottica stock declines 1% despite +10% over one month, ahead of Q3 results
EssilorLuxottica retreats at midday, within a CAC 40 clearly oriented downwards. Two brokers lowered their price targets today, while the group publishes its third quarter revenue tomorrow.
A moderate decline contrasting with the rebound underway over the past month
The EssilorLuxottica stock declines 1% to €152.85, far from the 1.34% fall of the Paris index. The security retains nearly 10% gains over one month and 4.4% over the week, following its lowest point since 2022 touched at the end of September. It remains however weighed down by more than 51% over one year.
The price is at contact with its 50-day moving average at €152.47, above the 20-day moving average (€146.09) and well below the 200-day moving average (€189.54). The security thus pulls back near the resistance level of €154.40, the level of the last close. The RSI at 60.55 remains in an intermediate zone.
