Eurazeo Shares Bounce Nearly 2% and Reapproach Their MM20
The Parisian asset manager regains some momentum in early afternoon trading, erasing some of its decline from last week. The stock approaches a short-term technical benchmark, while the SBF 120 remains flat.
Session Rebound Brings the Stock Back to Its MM20 at €41.71
Eurazeo shares are up 1.9% at €41.82 in early afternoon trading, while the SBF 120 lags slightly at +0.05%. The stock is among the top gainers in the index, following Edenred (+4.6%) and Teleperformance (+4%), which lead the market. This rebound brings the price back to the MM20 at €41.71, a benchmark lost last week when the stock had dropped 2.5%. Longer moving averages remain well above the current price (MM50 at €44.22, MM200 at €49.33), indicating a still deteriorating long-term trend with a decline of 31% over the year. The RSI at 41 remains in the neutral zone, with no strong signals in either direction.
Sustained Activity in Funds and Portfolio Transactions
The rebound coincides with a busy corporate period for the asset manager. Last week, Eurazeo closed its fifth secondary fund at €2.3 billion, exceeding the initial target of €2 billion and more than double the previous vintage closed in 2021. This fundraising adds to several recent portfolio rotations: the sale of the Spanish hotel portfolio FST to Extendam for approximately €100M at the beginning of July, and a majority stake acquisition in Lauralu through the Infrastructure branch. During the Q1 2026 release (May 13, 2026), the company highlighted a 17% increase in group deployments and the achievement of an Investment Grade rating by S&P and Fitch. The next milestone followed by the market is the publication of the half-yearly accounts, with analysts' opinions remaining generally constructive.
