The closing occurred on October 1st, 2026. The transaction had been announced on July 20th, 2026, for an enterprise value of $400 million. The acquired activity covers biopharmaceutical product testing, environmental analysis and food testing. This scope relies on a network of 27 laboratories and sites and employs approximately 750 people. It is expected to generate over $150 million in annual revenue in 2026, with profitability comparable to the average of the Eurofins group according to the press release. The acquired operations join Eurofins' BioPharma and Life activities in North America. They extend the group's laboratory network in key regions of the United States and Canada where its presence was previously limited.
Expanded Access to the Group's Service Offering
The group indicates that customers of the acquired activity will have access to the full range of its service offerings. The integrated laboratories are expected to benefit from economies of scale related to networks organized in centralized and decentralized structures. The integration will be conducted with a focus on service continuity for customers across all sites, the press release specifies.
