A half-year performance in recovery mode, with expectations on BioPharma in the second half
Behind today's correction, the fundamental momentum remains that traced during the publication of half-year results on July 23, 2026. The group had then indicated that profitability was close to its 2027 objective with more than one year's advance, and that the reduction in capital expenditure was contributing to significantly higher cash generation. Among the points of caution communicated on that occasion, organic revenue growth had not yet returned to normal pace in the first half of the year, and the BioPharma division remained affected by weak demand for its ancillary activities in North America.
The group nonetheless anticipated a turnaround in these activities in the second half of 2026, and expected the finalization of the acquisition of Element Materials Technology (over $150 million in annual revenues) by the end of the fourth quarter. The stock nonetheless displays a gain of 10.14% over three months and 12% over one year, which testifies to a positive underlying trend, even if the resistance at €74.08 has not yet been breached.
