Euronext stock breaks through its 169.30 € resistance level and sets a new high
The pan-European stock exchange operator continues its upward trajectory in a rebounding Paris market. The security advances during the session and ranks among the strongest gainers in the CAC 40.
A resistance level broken during the session, with an RSI that rises without overheating
The Euronext stock gains 1.66% to 171.60 €, above the 169.30 € resistance level that it broke through during the session and where it is holding. This threshold becomes its immediate support, and the next round level is located at 175 €. The RSI at 66.85 remains below the overbought zone, which accompanies the movement without contradicting it. The price is 5.16% above its 20-day moving average and 18.61% above its 200-day moving average, a sign of a trend established for several months.
Over one week, the gain reaches 3.37%, and the security advances 16.1% over three months. Within the index, the stock ranks among the strongest gainers in the CAC 40, which advances 0.49% at mid-day. It continues the series of records initiated on October 12, with a previous high of 172 € recorded on October 19.
JP Morgan and Kepler Cheuvreux raise their price targets to 177 € and 185 €
Two recent analyst opinions surround this movement. JP Morgan raised its target from 171 € to 177 € on October 20, with a neutral opinion, which leaves a potential of 3.1% compared to the current price. Kepler Cheuvreux increased its target from 180 € to 185 € the day before, maintaining its buy rating, representing a potential of 7.8%.
The analyst opinions are therefore oriented upward, but with significant differences between the two firms. On the agenda side, the security has already published revenue up 16.9% in the second quarter. As a reminder, the latest monthly activity report, released on October 7, showed a 16.8% increase in stock trading over one month.
