Eutelsat Communications Shares Break Support and Plunge 20% Over a Month
The satellite operator continues its decline in mid-morning trading on the Paris stock exchange, as the CAC 40 slightly retreats. The stock is sinking to the bottom of the SBF 120 and loses a technical threshold that has been monitored for several sessions. The slide that began in late May has not yet found its footing.
A New Leg Down Breaking the €2.16 Support
Eutelsat Communications shares fell 3.02% to €2.15 in mid-morning trading, down from €2.217 the previous day. During the session, the stock broke through its support at €2.16, a technical threshold that has been monitored for several sessions and was already tested in previous days. The break confirms the downward spiral that began at the end of May, with a decline of 20.4% over the month and 13.38% over the week. The stock is among the largest declines in the SBF 120, while the broader index is down 0.42%.
A Significant Drop Compared to Moving Averages, RSI at 36
The price is significantly below its three moving averages, with a gap of 10.04% under the MM20 (€2.39) and 25.61% under the MM50 (€2.89). The RSI at 36 indicates a persistent weakening, although not yet in a clear oversold zone. The MACD remains negative at -0.23, even though the histogram shows a slight improvement.
As a reminder, during the nine-month financial report for 2025/2026 released on May 12, the company highlighted a 50% year-on-year increase in revenue from its LEO activity, but also a negative currency effect of 42 million euros. The next technical marker is now below €2.15, in a territory devoid of recent support.
