FDJ United Renews Its Sponsorship with the OFB for 700,000 Euros Over Two Years
FDJ United has signed a new two-year sponsorship agreement with the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB) amounting to 700,000 euros. This renewal continues the group's status as a 'Major Sponsor' which it has held since 2023, supported by the revenues from its Mission Nature gaming offerings.
Three New Ecological Renovation Projects Funded
The agreement covers the funding of three projects until 2028: the conservation of bottlenose dolphins in the Iroise marine natural parks in Brittany, Cap Corse, and Agriate in Corsica; the restoration of forests and ponds in the Caroux Espinouse reserve in Occitanie; and the renovation of reed beds and educational infrastructure in the Hâble d'Ault hunting and wildlife reserve in Hauts-de-France.
Since its commitment to the OFB in 2023, FDJ United has supported around ten projects with a total amount exceeding 2.5 million euros.
Mission Nature: Over 32 Million Euros Collected Since 2023
The Mission Nature gaming offerings, launched in 2023, have generated over 32 million euros for the benefit of the OFB. This funding has supported more than 90 ecological restoration projects across the entire French territory, including overseas regions. More than half of the winning projects in 2023 have nearly completed their work to date.
Similar to the Mission Patrimoine program, the Mission Nature offerings allocate to the OFB the proceeds from the stakes that would normally go to the state, intended for the financing of ecological restoration projects.
