Finaxo Environment: Net Income Up by 37% in 2025, to €471k
Listed on Euronext Access, Finaxo Environment announced its 2025 results on Tuesday, showing a rise in revenue and a significant increase in net income. The company highlights the maintenance of its core water treatment activity and continues to develop two innovative directions: the stapling device for lamellar plates and the Pyrobio II process.
Revenue and Profitability on the Rise Despite Market Tensions
Finaxo Environment reported a net revenue of €2.60 million in 2025, up by €0.06 million from 2024 (€2.54 million). The net income increased much more significantly, reaching €471k compared to a previously lower level, marking an increase of nearly 37%. Operating income was €513k, up by more than 42%. The growth in net income and operating income significantly outpaced that of revenue, although the release did not detail the factors behind the margin increase. The Board of Directors described these results as a testament to the company's robust business model, despite a market environment characterized by a slowdown in investments across several industrial sectors.
Sustained Lamellar Activity, Two Technologies to Deploy
In its historic market of lamellar decantation, Finaxo secured two significant contracts for Australia and Jamaica through the consortium of Suez, Acciona, and Vinci Construction. The company maintained its activity level despite rising raw material costs, notably shock polystyrene used in the manufacture of plates. The patented stapling device for lamellar plates has now entered the operational phase. A second machine was delivered to Suez International, featuring technical improvements over the first. This solution broadens prospects beyond the strict lamellar market and strengthens Finaxo's position in water treatment equipment.
Pyrobio II Overcomes a Key Technical Hurdle
Concurrently, Finaxo continues to develop the Pyrobio II pyrogasification process. The technical hurdle related to the induction heating of the screw conveyor has been resolved. This novel system generates a significant performance gain in terms of energy efficiency, thermal control, and reliability. The company is working to catch up on the delays caused by this technical issue to have an operational pilot.
