Forsee Power Signs Partnership with Hitachi in Heavy Electric Mobility
On Thursday, Forsee Power signed a memorandum of understanding with Hitachi Industrial Products to collaborate on hybrid and electric solutions for mining vehicles, locomotives, and construction equipment. This partnership merges Forsee Power's expertise in battery systems with Hitachi's know-how in electric motors and components.
A Partnership Spanning Mining, Rail, and Construction
The agreement focuses on the design and deployment of hybrid and fully electric systems for heavy-duty and off-road applications. Both partners aim to accelerate the decarbonization of industrial mobility by combining Forsee Power's battery systems and global after-sales capabilities with Hitachi's recognized expertise in electrical systems. Forsee Power will provide its battery systems, designed and manufactured in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America. Hitachi will contribute its motors, inverters, and electrical components for demanding operating environments.
Collaboration on Key International Markets
The collaboration extends to after-sales services across major international markets.
