Forvia aims to double its commercial vehicle revenues by 2030
Ahead of IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, the automotive supplier presented its roadmap for the commercial and industrial vehicle segment, a market it is positioning as a growth lever within its IGNITE plan.
A segment elevated from 2% of sales to a major contributor
Forvia announced on September 2, 2026 its intention to accelerate growth in the commercial and utility vehicle industry (IVC), presented as a pillar of its IGNITE strategy unveiled during its Capital Market Day in February 2026. The group has set the objective of doubling its IVC revenues by 2030, a segment that currently represents 2% of the group's sales.
In this context, the Seating department is targeting approximately 10% of its revenue from IVC by 2030. The group intends to rely on an integrated approach combining Forvia Faurecia and Forvia Hella to support manufacturers and fleet operators on decarbonization, digitalization, safety and cost efficiency challenges.
A unified vision bringing together five business groups
Forvia indicates that it will unveil for the first time at IAA Transportation 2026 a unified vision for the IVC market bringing together its five business groups under a single strategy. The portfolio presented covers seating, electronics, interiors, lighting and zero-emission solutions.
The range of commercial vehicle technologies will be exhibited from September 14 to 20, 2026 at the group's stand (Hall 12, Stand 36) in Hanover. A press conference bringing together Martin Fischer, CEO of Forvia, and Peter Laier, CEO of Forvia Hella, will be held on September 14, 2026 at the stand. The group is drawing on more than 50 years of Forvia Hella's experience in this market segment.
