Governance: Mercialys Entrusts New Role to Administrator Maël Aoustin
The real estate company has entrusted this function to one of its independent administrators, effective immediately. In this new role, Maël Aoustin will be, according to the press release, "the privileged contact person for the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the administrators, notably the independent administrators".
The Board of Directors of Mercialys, convened on October 15, 2026, made this decision unanimously, on the proposal of the Nominations, Remuneration and Governance Committee. Maël Aoustin has served on the board since 2023 as an independent administrator.
He also chairs the Audit, Risk and Sustainable Development Committee. According to the company, this appointment "complements Mercialys' governance framework, in line with market best practices".

Maël Aoustin has been President of the Managing Board of UXCO Group since March 2022. He worked for 12 years at Unibail-Rodamco, where he held various management positions in France and internationally.
He then led Galimmo from 2016 to 2022. Mercialys, a member of the SBF 120 and compartment A of Euronext Paris, held real estate assets of €3.1 billion inclusive of rights as of June 30, 2026.
