The Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation has welcomed Élisabeth Moreno as an independent director on its Board of Directors. This appointment accompanies the implementation of its LIFT 2028 strategy.
An Independent Director with International Profile
Élisabeth Moreno joins the Board of Directors of the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation as an independent director. A former deputy minister for equality between women and men, diversity and equal opportunities from 2020 to 2022, she brings more than 30 years of global leadership experience.
Chairwoman of the Board of Ring Capital and director of Banco de Cabo Verde, she also sits on several international organizations and institutions. Born in Cape Verde, she has conducted her career in Europe, Africa, America and Asia.
An Appointment Linked to the LIFT 2028 Strategy
This appointment is part of the Foundation's acceleration of the implementation of its LIFT 2028 strategy, structured around two main axes: diversifying financing models and strengthening the protection of vulnerable populations against climate and economic shocks.
Created in 2008 by Crédit Agricole and Grameen Trust with Professor Muhammad Yunus, the Foundation has deployed over 450 million euros in financing through more than 100 partners present in 40 countries, and has implemented over 500 technical assistance missions since its creation.
