Guerbet: Antoine Fady Becomes Chairman of the Board
On Friday, Guerbet announced a reshuffling of its board of directors following its general assembly on May 22, 2026. Antoine Fady has been appointed as the chairman of the board, with three new directors representing the majority shareholder also joining.
Antoine Fady as Chairman of the Board
Antoine Fady has been appointed as an independent director and chairman of the board of directors of Guerbet, effective immediately. This appointment concludes his role as a censor, which he has held since March 11, 2026. A graduate engineer from the École nationale supérieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne and holder of an MBA from INSEAD, Fady has over ten years of experience as the CEO of Flint Group. He has also held various senior management positions at ICI and Akzo Nobel, particularly in the paints and coatings activities in Europe. His career also includes governance experience as a non-executive director and board chairman, including at Roquette (current mandate) and XSYS (chairman of the board from 2021 to 2024).
Three New Directors Representing the Majority Shareholder
The general assembly appointed three new directors representing the majority shareholder. Emmanuelle Louvet replaces Nicolas Louvet, whose term has expired. Vincent Dagommer replaces Marc Massiot, who resigned. Olivier Guerbet replaces Carine Dagommer, whose term has also expired. The board of directors of Guerbet now consists of nine members: Antoine Fady (chairman of the board, independent director), Vincent Dagommer, Eric Drapé (independent director), Marie de la Simone (employee director), Eric Guerbet, Olivier Guerbet, Céline Lamort, Michèle Lesieur (independent director), and Emmanuelle Louvet.
