Haffner Energy Stock Soars 13%, Driven by Data Center Contracts
The small Vitry-le-François company continues its impressive rally on Monday, following a series of commercial and technical announcements accumulated since late August. The stock is now trading well above all of its moving averages, in a context of a globally stable European market.
A three-month rally driven by a series of commercial and technical announcements
Haffner Energy stock gains 13.18% during the session, at €0.67, after closing the previous session at €0.592. Over the week, the stock is already up nearly 23.4%, and its three-month gain reaches 197.8%, nearly tripling in value. This momentum is rooted in a flurry of news: at the end of August, the company announced an energy offering intended for data centers, based on biomass, which had propelled the stock up more than 18% in a single session.
A few days later, California-based developer OroCarbo confirmed the reservation of 12 units of the modular Synoca technology, representing a potential revenue of up to 30 million euros. This California order further caused the stock to jump 12.5% on September 2nd. The one-year gain stands at 174.6%, reflecting rapid revaluation following a long period of severe discount.
Tight technical configuration, with a stock price far removed from all its moving averages
On the indicators side, the €0.67 price is well above its three moving averages: the 20-day MA at €0.58 (spread of +15.5%), the 50-day MA at €0.39 (+71.8%) and the 200-day MA at €0.17 (+294%). Such a gap from the long-term averages illustrates the extent of the recovery from the lows, but also signals a tight configuration. The RSI at 56 remains in neutral territory, without a marked overbought signal for now.
The resistance identified at €0.78 represents the next reference threshold, approximately 16% above the current price. In this context, it is also worth noting that Brent is trading around 96 dollars per barrel on Monday, supported by tensions around the Strait of Hormuz: Haffner Energy, positioned on biomass-based substitute fuels, operates in a sector where rising fossil fuel prices mechanically reinforce interest in renewable alternatives. The analysts' views on the stock remain worth monitoring in this context of strong revaluation.
