ID Logistics inaugurates a 41,000 m² facility for Puma in Alsace and extends contract for six years
The specialist in contract logistics officially inaugurated on October 21, together with Puma, the Vendenheim platform (Bas-Rhin): a 41,000 m² site dedicated to the brand's B2B activities in France. The automated facility targets a processing time of 4 hours for priority orders.
A collaboration initiated in 2016 and refocused on Vendenheim
ID Logistics has supported Puma in managing its logistics operations in France since 2016. At the end of 2025, the group transferred activity from the Landersheim site to the Vendenheim platform, to support the brand's growth and the evolution of its distribution flows. Developed by developer and builder LCR (Les Constructeurs Réunis), the site has been operational since the end of 2025. ID Logistics ensures the receipt, storage, preparation, shipment and management of returns for Puma shoes, clothing and accessories intended for the French market.
A renewal for six years and a capacity of 57,000 lines per day
Alongside the transfer, the two companies renewed their partnership for a new period of six years. Preparation times are modulated according to the priority level of orders. The facility is designed to process up to 57,000 order lines per day and absorb volume variations as well as seasonal peaks specific to the fashion and sports articles sectors. It is based in particular on an AutoStore system integrated with the Reflex warehouse management software, with 15 preparation stations and 12 product induction stations. With an initial capacity of 70,000 bins, the AutoStore installation can be increased to more than 85,000 bins by 2030 to follow the evolution of Puma's volumes.
100 employees on average and BREEAM Excellent certification
The site employs an average of 100 people, with workforce reaching 150 during peak periods. The Landersheim teams joined Vendenheim, supplemented by local recruitment, and ID Logistics trained employees on the new tools. Certified BREEAM Excellent, the platform features LED lighting, energy consumption monitoring systems, a rooftop photovoltaic installation for self-consumption and charging stations for electric vehicles. Frédéric Grenier, Managing Director of ID Logistics France, indicated that the site integrated from the outset the capacity necessary for future expansion. Christophe Cance, Managing Director Southern Europe at Puma, presented logistics performance as a lever for the brand's development in France. The ID Logistics group, which achieved a turnover of 3.7 billion euros in 2025, operates 450 sites in 20 countries and employs 55,000 people.
