Kering stock declines 2% and slides towards its support level at €206.55, ahead of its sales figures
The luxury group owning Gucci and Saint Laurent is retreating in mid-session trading, in a Paris market also oriented downwards. The stock remains under pressure across multiple timeframes. The publication of third-quarter results is approaching.
A pullback that brings the stock closer to its support level at €206.55
The Kering stock is down 1.89% at €212.85, following a previous close at €216.95. It ranks at the bottom of the CAC 40, which is declining 1.33% at the same time. The price is approximately 3% away from its support level at €206.55, a level the stock has not yet touched. The RSI at 41 remains neutral: the decline has not shifted into oversold territory, and the price is holding 2.44% below its 20-day moving average.
Over the longer term, the pressure is evident. The stock is down 8.65% over one month and 15.64% over three months, well below its 200-day moving average at €255.47. Recent sessions have alternated between rebounds and declines, such as the rebound on October 14, without reversing the underlying trend.
Third-quarter publication expected on October 22
Kering will publish its third-quarter revenue on October 22. In early October, the group had confirmed, according to economic press reports, a difficult end to summer for the luxury sector, which sets the bar for this publication in a context of already fragile demand. When first-half 2026 results were published on July 28, Gucci showed a 5% decline on a comparable basis and the group's net profit fell 60%, to €189 million. The group emphasized its desire to return to growth and improve profitability.
The balance sheet, however, has been lightened: net debt was reduced by €4.7 billion thanks to the sale of Kering Beauty. The stock is also down nearly 31% over one year. Third-quarter sales on October 22 will be the group's next earnings date.
