Median Technologies presents its Eyonis LCS software in New York before screening experts
Median Technologies announced on October 20, 2026 that the group and its American subsidiary Eyonis Inc. will speak in New York before the international community of lung cancer screening. The group will present its Eyonis LCS software, for which it has initiated commercialization on both sides of the Atlantic.
Two presentations scheduled for October 23 at Mount Sinai
The 50th International Conference on Lung Cancer Screening, organized by I-ELCAP (International Early Lung Cancer Action Program), is being held from October 22 to 24, 2026 at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. According to the press release, this organization has contributed to the scientific and clinical foundations of low-dose CT scanning (LDCT) screening and its implementation worldwide.
On October 23, Benoît Huet, Senior Vice President of Engineering and AI Research at Median Technologies, will present "Updates on Malignancy Prediction of Lung Nodules" during Session 6, dedicated to protocol updates, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (Eastern Time).
Later in the morning, Stefania Baraghini, Vice President of Marketing at Eyonis, and Benoît Huet will speak on the topic "Eyonis LCS in the Era of Foundation Models: From Nodule Detection to Malignancy Prediction" during Session 7, dedicated to technological innovation, from 10:10 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. The event is open to the public, both in-person and online.
Software authorized by the FDA in February and CE marked in July
Eyonis LCS is a medical device software based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, which combines computer-assisted detection and computer-assisted diagnosis within the lung cancer screening pathway. The company presents it as the first and only software of its kind to have both FDA authorization and CE marking.
Following FDA authorization obtained in the United States in February 2026 and CE marking in Europe in July 2026, Median Technologies indicates it is continuing the commercial deployment of the software in both regions, with the United States being its primary market.
The group is placing this approach within the expansion of organized screening programs, which according to the company requires radiology departments to interpret growing volumes of examinations and identify patients presenting suspicious abnormalities.
Integration into radiologists' daily work, key to success
For Fredrik Brag, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Median Technologies, this presentation represents "an opportunity to contribute to this global momentum and to share our vision of how AI can support the next phase of lung cancer screening".
Oran Muduroglu, President of Eyonis Inc., believes that widespread screening requires tools integrated into radiologists' daily work and capable of helping them handle growing volumes. The stated objective of Eyonis LCS is to help healthcare professionals conduct screening in an efficient and consistent manner at scale.
Listed on Euronext Growth and present in the United States and China, Median Technologies develops two business lines: iCRO, dedicated to the analysis and management of medical images in oncology clinical trials, and the Eyonis software suite.
