Nearly 15% drop in three months: Rexel stock rebounds 2% following Jefferies
The electrical equipment distributor recovers notably in early afternoon, after a session marked by decline. A brokerage firm has just raised its price target, offering the stock some relief after a period laden with financial operations.
A rebound of 2.24% that leaves Rexel below its three moving averages
The Rexel stock gains 2.24% to €33.37 during the session, in an SBF 120 that advances 0.32%. The stock thus recovers part of the ground lost the previous day, when it had touched technical support around €32.64. The price remains, however, below all of its medium-term benchmarks: the 20-day moving average at €35.14 is 5.04% above, the 200-day moving average at €36.09 is 7.54% above.
Over three months, the stock is still down 14.83%, a decline that today's rebound only moderates. This movement follows operations at the end of September: a capital increase of approximately 500 million euros, whose success was announced on September 29, then the acquisition of American firm GCG. The RSI at 36 reflects a stock under pressure without being in oversold territory.
Jefferies raises its price target to €45.20 and the H1 2026 file remains in the background

Jefferies today raises its price target from €44.20 to €45.20 and maintains a buy rating on the stock, representing a potential of nearly 35% compared to the current price. This revaluation aligns with that of other brokerage firms, which had already raised their views on the stock this week. At the publication of H1 2026 results on July 27, the group had raised its objectives for 2026, while indicating net financial debt of €3,322 million, up €690 million since end of 2025. The next milestone is the publication of third-quarter revenue, expected on October 22.
