Odyssey Technologies Completes Acquisition of Smes, Alsatian Aerospace Specialist
Odyssey Technologies has announced the final completion of the acquisition of 100% of the capital of Smes on July 13, 2026, three weeks after the signing of the preliminary agreement. This transaction, financed through bank loans and the group's cash reserves, definitively integrates a precision parts manufacturer based in Alsace specializing in aerospace.
Smes Becomes a Subsidiary of Odyssey Technologies
The acquisition, initially announced at the end of June 2026 as a preliminary agreement, is now finalized. Smes, located in Wittelsheim (Haut-Rhin), is a manufacturer of precision parts specialized in aerospace. The company, certified EN9100, focuses on the machining of complex individual parts and small series primarily for high-end international aerospace clients.
Financing and Accounting Integration
The operation was financed through bank loans and partially by the group's treasury. Smes will be consolidated in the accounts of Odyssey Technologies for the current fiscal year. The group indicates that this acquisition 'should be accretive from the first year of consolidation'.
A Step in the Strategy of Mixed Growth
Odyssey Technologies positions this acquisition as a step in its mixed growth strategy presented during its IPO. The group describes the operation as strengthening its position in the aerospace sector, expanding its customer portfolio, and integrating complementary technical know-how. The group has 175 employees distributed across three production units in France and achieved a consolidated turnover of 20.8 million euros in 2025.
