Oeneo Agrees to Acquire Lamouroux, Expanding its Winemaking Offerings
Oeneo Group has signed an agreement to acquire the entire share capital of Lamouroux, a Gironde-based company specializing in thermocontrol for winemaking. This acquisition enhances the group's offerings throughout the wine production chain.
A Strategic Acquisition for the Wine Sector
Oeneo has entered into an agreement with the shareholders of Lamouroux to acquire all of its capital through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Vivelys. The transaction is subject to certain conditions precedent and is expected to be completed in the coming months. Founded in 1988 and located in Beychac-et-Caillau, Gironde, Lamouroux designs, manufactures, and installs automated thermal control and regulation systems for the wine industry. The company generates a turnover of nearly 10 million euros annually and employs about forty people. Lamouroux manufactures and assembles all of its thermoregulation systems in its own workshops in Gironde, a rarity among French players in the winemaking process. The management team will assist in the transition alongside the teams from the Oeneo Group.
Expanding the Group's Technological Capabilities
This acquisition adds a technological component to Oeneo's offerings focused on mastering thermoregulation during the winemaking and aging stages. The group thus extends its coverage of the entire wine production cycle, from vine to wine. Lamouroux represents a business with a strong emphasis on innovation and research and development. Integrated into the group, it will benefit from Oeneo's global commercial network and international presence to further develop its potential.
