OVHcloud Launches Premier 2027: Up to 40% More CPU Cores for VMware
OVHcloud announces the launch of a new range of Premier 2027 servers dedicated to its Managed VMware vSphere solution. This private cloud offering is aimed at professional environments and includes significant hardware improvements designed to enhance performance on critical workloads.
Increased Computing and Memory Capacities
The Premier 2027 range offers up to 40% more CPU cores compared to the previous generation, utilizing 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Emerald Rapids). Memory capacity reaches up to 1.5 TB per host for intensive applications, complemented by high-performance NVMe disks and private bandwidth of up to 50 Gbps. This evolution aims to address the most demanding use cases: cloud migration, disaster recovery, business application hosting, and application modernization.
Availability and Geographical Deployment
The Premier 2027 range is available now in France (including in the SecNumCloud 3.2 region), Europe, and Canada. A deployment in the United States is planned very soon. OVHcloud emphasizes that this new range offers more granularity at the core level, a wider choice of server configurations, and a better performance/price ratio.
