The 787-10 can carry between 300 and 375 passengers over distances up to 13,890 km. This order represents the largest wide-body order ever placed by the airline. This acquisition complements the current fleet of ten Boeing 777s and is intended to enhance Philippine Airlines' capabilities on its medium and long-haul routes, particularly from its hubs in Manila and Cebu.
Energy Efficiency and Emission Reduction
The 787 Dreamliner offers a 25% lower fuel consumption compared to the aircraft it replaces, according to Boeing.
