Renault Rolls Out Three Initiatives to Strengthen Its Position in the Electric Market
On Monday, Renault announced a roadmap to solidify its leadership in the French electric vehicle market, as the registration results for May were just published by the PFA. The manufacturer is sequentially deploying three initiatives: starting June 1st, a support program for professionals with its electric utility range produced in France, followed by the opening of pre-orders for social leasing on June 16th, and the launch of the program on July 16th.
Commitment to Professionals Starting June 1st with a Complete Electric Range
Renault is participating in the government's purchase assistance program for professionals from June 1st. The group offers a complete electric range of utility vehicles made in France: Kangoo E-Tech electric, Trafic E-Tech electric, and Master E-Tech electric. This initiative aims to accelerate the electrification of the utility vehicle market, a sector where Renault holds a historic leadership position in France.
Expansion of Social Leasing to Four Models with a Defined Schedule
Renault is expanding its social leasing offer to include four models. The manufacturer will open pre-orders for these models (Twingo, Renault 5, Renault 4, and Mégane E-Tech electric) on June 16th. The program will be launched on July 16th, 2026, and includes a significant 'Made in Europe' aspect, according to Renault. Concurrently, the group is deploying additional solutions: pre-owned electric vehicles through the Renew brand and solidarity mobility solutions by CareMakers.
