Sligro Food Group share rebounds above its €9.10 support level
The Dutch food service wholesaler is recovering during the session after a period of sharp decline. The recent downturn has left the security far below its average levels, and Monday's session had seen a strong test of the lower zone.
A rebound that extends the test of the €9.10 support
The Sligro Food Group share gains 2.09% to €9.29, compared to €9.10 at the previous close. On Monday, the security had broken through its €9.10 support during the session, down to a low of €9.03, before moving back above. Today's movement confirms this return above the threshold. The RSI at 26.35 remains in the oversold zone, which underscores the extent of the decline accumulated before this rebound.
The pullback remains significant over a longer horizon: -20.96% over three months, with dividend reinstatement as of September 25. Today's gain only offsets a small portion, 2.09% against nearly 21%. The price remains below the 20-day moving average (€9.57, representing a 2.97% gap), below the 50-day moving average (€9.93) and far below the 200-day moving average (€11.53).
A dividend of €0.30 paid and a €13 million share buyback program
The security has been trading ex-dividend since September 25, following the distribution of a €0.30 coupon. The performances cited above account for this: the one-month decline is 5.15% with dividend reinstatement, compared to 8.02% in net price. This factor explains nothing about today's session. On the shareholder front, the group announced on July 23, 2026 a share buyback program worth €13 million.
Over twelve months, €26 million worth of securities have been repurchased, representing 6.6% of market capitalization. This movement is occurring as the CAC 40 declines 0.69% and the SBF 120 falls 0.72%. The next level to watch remains the €9.10 support, tested during Monday's session.
