Sofinco Launches Pure, a Revolving Credit Card with Four Integrated Protections
In a press release published on October 19, 2026, Sofinco, a commercial brand of Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility in France, unveiled an offer that combines payment, financing and protection of everyday purchases. Customers who already hold a Sofinco card will gradually transition to this new system starting in 2027.
A Deferred Debit Card Coupled with Revolving Credit
PURE combines an international Mastercard CB card with deferred debit to revolving credit presented as "next generation". The entire solution is managed from the Sofinco application. The customer chooses to settle expenses in cash or use the associated revolving credit, with credit use occurring at their explicit choice.
Between two statement dates, they can modify their financing choices and customize the amount or payment term for each expense, up to 60 monthly installments. The card is compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
It is free provided there is at least one payment transaction per month, in cash or on credit. Failing this, a fee of 3 euros per month is charged. The customer has a legal right of withdrawal.
Four Guarantees Included, Two Additional Offers Planned for 2027
The offer integrates four protections, subject to their conditions, exclusions and contractual limits. The manufacturer warranty extension extends by 12 months the warranty of eligible items purchased with the card, up to a maximum total warranty of 36 months. Purchase protection covers theft or accidental damage within 180 days of purchase, and internet delivery protection provides coverage in case of non-delivery or damage that occurs during the delivery of an online purchase.
For these three guarantees, the limit is set at 3,000 euros per claim and per year. Guaranteed Trade-In allows eligible high-tech devices to be traded in during their first three years, once per year and within a limit of 4,000 euros. The announced trade-in rate is 75% within one year, 50% between one and two years, and 25% between two and three years.
The range is to be completed by the ORIGIN offer, a completely free and 100% dematerialized card expected in the first quarter of 2027, followed by the PREMIUM offer, planned for the end of 2027. "Our ambition is to offer a simple, flexible and controllable experience that adapts to the choices and lifestyle of our customers," declared Franck Oniga, Chief Executive Officer of Sofinco.
