Soitec stock breaks through its €123 support, at the bottom of the SBF 120
The Isère-based semiconductor substrate manufacturer extends its profit-taking phase in a declining Paris market. After breaking through a closely watched threshold during the session, the stock barely recovers it, but the decline for the week remains significant.
A €123 support broken through then recovered, with an RSI at 38.6
The Soitec stock loses 4.05% to €123.25 during the session. It broke through its €123 support down to a low of €120.55, before moving back above the threshold, just barely. The stock is down 20.23% over seven days and finds itself below its MA20 (gap of 17.93%) as well as its MA50 (gap of 8.85%), while the MA200 remains 24.22% below the price. The RSI at 38.63 reflects a decline that accelerated this week without tipping into oversold territory.
Among SBF 120 values, Soitec occupies the second-to-last place of the session, just ahead of Solvay. This movement extends the correction initiated earlier in the month: the stock had already slipped below its MA50 on Monday. It nevertheless maintains a gain of 41.12% over three months, following a surge of 225.5% over one year.
