Synergie: Revenue Up 11.2% in Third Quarter, Driven by Acquisitions
Synergie published on October 21, 2026 revenue of €917.2 million for the third quarter of 2026, up 11.2% year-on-year. Growth at comparable scope stands at 2.4%: the bulk of growth comes from companies acquired in Switzerland and Canada, which generated €70.6 million in revenue for the quarter.
This movement alters the geographic distribution of the temporary work group. International now accounts for 64.3% of revenue, compared with 60.7% at the end of September 2025, while France shows a slight decline.
€917.2 Million in Third Quarter and €2,627.7 Million Over Nine Months
In the third quarter of 2026, Synergie's revenue reached €917.2 million, compared with €825.0 million a year earlier, representing an increase of 11.2% (+2.4% at comparable scope). Over the first nine months of the fiscal year, revenue stands at €2,627.7 million, compared with €2,408.6 million, up 9.1% (+2.3% on a constant perimeter and exchange rate basis).
The group attributes this increase primarily to acquisitions carried out in Switzerland and Canada. These operations were already among the opportunities highlighted when publishing half-yearly results on July 22, 2026. In its interim accounts on September 23, 2026, Synergie had reported revenue up 8% in the first half.
To put the scale in perspective, Synergie achieved revenue of €3,241.2 million for the entire 2025 fiscal year, according to annual accounts published on March 15, 2026.
International Business Up 19%, France Down 1.2%
International operations generated €601.2 million in the third quarter, compared with €505.1 million a year earlier, an increase of 19.0% (+4.6% at comparable scope). This growth includes a scope effect related to acquisitions of €70.6 million for the quarter. Over nine months, international reaches €1,688.9 million, up 15.5%.
Dynamics vary by region. Southern Europe shows revenue growth of 9.1% in the third quarter. In Northern and Eastern Europe, revenue increases by 11.3% thanks to the integration of Swiss activities acquired during the year, but declines by 1.0% at comparable scope, with activity remaining affected according to the group by a weak economic environment. Outside Europe, revenue benefited from the integration of Agilus in Canada.
In France, revenue stood at €316.0 million in the third quarter, compared with €319.9 million a year earlier, a decline of 1.2%. Over nine months, the domestic market totals €938.8 million, down 0.8%. The group describes this trend as broadly stable in an environment it characterizes as complex.
Caution in the Face of Geopolitical and Economic Uncertainties
Synergie indicates it is pursuing its development with caution in an international context marked by persistent economic and geopolitical uncertainties. The group says it is confident in its ability to maintain its growth trajectory, relying on the diversification of its activities.
This message is in line with previous publications. In its 2025 fiscal year report, published on March 15, 2026, the group adopted a cautious tone. On July 22, 2026, it cited among the risks a degraded economic and geopolitical context as well as a still sluggish market for certain activities, an assessment reflected by the 1.0% decline at comparable scope in Northern and Eastern Europe in the third quarter.
2026 annual revenue is to be published on January 27, after market close. At the end of September, the publication establishes cumulative revenue of €2,627.7 million, up 9.1%, of which 64.3% was generated outside France.
