TotalEnergies: Emmanuelle Guégan Joins Executive Committee and Takes Over Marketing & Services Leadership
Emmanuelle Guégan is joining TotalEnergies' Executive Committee following a leadership change within the Marketing & Services division. She succeeds Bernard Pinatel, who is exercising his retirement rights.
Taking Office on September 1, 2026
As of September 1, 2026, Emmanuelle Guégan is appointed Chief Executive Officer of Marketing & Services and member of TotalEnergies' Executive Committee. She replaces Bernard Pinatel, who is exercising his retirement rights after ten years serving on the Executive Committee.
Emmanuelle Guégan has held the position of Secretary General of the Exploration-Production division since October 2025. Her appointment was commented on by Patrick Pouyanné, Chief Executive Officer of the group, who praised Bernard Pinatel's commitment in service of refining, chemistry and marketing activities.
A Career Entirely Built Within the Group
Emmanuelle Guégan began her career at Total within the France network of the Marketing & Services division. She joined in 2005 the Financial department of the Holding as head of management control for Exploration-Production.
She then continues her career in the Marketing & Services division, where she successively holds the positions of head of the France Management Control Department (2008), Director of New Business Models (2012), Director of HR Strategy and Performance (2014), Director of Human Resources for the Africa Division (2016), and then Director of Human Resources and Internal Communication (2020).
As of September 1, 2026, TotalEnergies' Executive Committee comprises nine members, chaired by Patrick Pouyanné.
