Ubisoft: Heroes of Might and Magic - Olden Era Surpasses One Million Sales in a Month
Ubisoft, in partnership with Unfrozen Studios and Hooded Horse, released the development roadmap for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era in early access, following the achievement of one million sales in a month.
One Million Copies Sold in One Month
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, launched in early access on April 30, reached 250,000 copies sold within 24 hours before surpassing one million copies during its first month of availability.
Roadmap for Upcoming Updates
The development teams have released an early access roadmap based on player feedback. Initial updates include a Teamplay mode, hero skill rebalancing, enhancements to the random map generator, an Observer mode, and a revamp of elite classes. The overall goals for the early access phase include adding underground terrain, improving the map editor, implementing an Ironman mode for the campaign, and enhancements to the multiplayer matchmaking system.
Long-Term Developments
In the medium and long term, development plans include completing the single-player campaign, adding a feature for sharing maps among players, and a new PvE (player versus environment) mode. Each update will bring new content, user interface improvements, adjustments to artificial intelligence, and quality of life enhancements. The roadmap may be adjusted as the game evolves. Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is currently playable in early access on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store (Game Preview).
