Valbiotis Signs Exclusive Agreement in Qatar to Launch Four Products
Valbiotis announced on Monday the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with Al Danah Medical Company to market its products in Qatar. This new step is part of the French group's expansion in the Middle East and Asia, with initial revenues expected as early as 2027.
Partnership with an Established Health Distributor
Valbiotis has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Al Danah Medical Company, a major player in the health and nutrition sector in Qatar. Founded in 1990, this company has established itself as one of the main medical distributors in Qatar, with a broad portfolio of prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceutical products, nutritional solutions, as well as cosmetics and medical equipment.
Under this agreement, Al Danah Medical will be responsible for the registration, importation, distribution, and promotion of Valbiotis products to health professionals in Qatar: pharmacists, general practitioners, specialists, and hospitals. The products will be marketed primarily through the pharmacy network, supported by a promotion strategy based on scientific data justifying their efficacy.
Four Products Launched in the Qatari Market
Valbiotis will introduce four products to the Qatari market: Valbiotis Pro Cholesterol, Valbiotis Pro Metabolic Health, Valbiotis Pro Cardio-Circulation, and Steadrive (formerly Totum 448). Commercial launch is expected to begin once regulatory approvals and local health authorities' permissions are obtained, with initial revenues anticipated as early as 2027.
The marketing aims to establish Valbiotis solutions as reliable references in cardiometabolic health management and daily well-being. Qatar presents an attractive opportunity for the Valbiotis Pro range, due to the high prevalence of cardiometabolic risk factors in the population, including overweight, obesity, hypercholesterolemia, and type 2 diabetes.
A Capital-Efficient Expansion Model
This agreement is structured as a capital-efficient model for Valbiotis, includes annual volume commitments, and requires no direct commercial investment from the group. This partnership strengthens Valbiotis's presence in the Middle East, following the distribution agreement signed in January with Mena Nutrition for Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Iraq. It is a continuation of the group's international strategy, which is also unfolding in Asia.
