Valeo stock breaks through its support at €13.41, among the weakest performers in the SBF 120
The Paris-based automotive supplier is experiencing a difficult session, in a sharply declining Paris market. The decline reverses part of last week's rebound and occurs just days before its quarterly sales release.
A support breached during the session, within a declining SBF 120
Valeo falls 4.05% to €13.39, among the strongest declines in the SBF 120, which retreats 1.32% at midday. The stock broke through its €13.41 support level during the session and remains below it. It is also trading below its 20-day moving average (-6%) and its 50-day moving average (-6.85%), while it remains above its 200-day moving average at €12.87.
Over one month, the decline reaches 10.17%, while the one-year gain remains at 33.72%. The CAC 40 loses 1.34%, in a context of social tensions following weekend violence and pressure on French debt, with a 10-year OAT at 4.79% according to the latest survey by the Banque de France from October 16.

Valeo publishes its third quarter revenue on October 22. On the regulatory front, Paris and Berlin reached a common position on October 17: relaxed CO2 targets in exchange for aid reserved for vehicles produced in Europe.
